Launched in January 2022, the Oil & Gas Measurement Podcast is hosted by oil and gas industry measurement expert Weldon Wright.

The monthly podcast is released on the third Wednesday of the month. Each episode focuses on a specific area of measurement that is designed to transfer knowledge from an oil and gas industry expert to the listening audience.
The goal of the podcast is to provide information and insights to measurement supervisors, field technicians, engineers, back-office personnel, and other individuals that are responsible for supporting measurement operations in their company.

About the Host: Weldon Wright
Weldon Wright is the General Manager of Gas Certification Institute (GCI), which provides measurement operations support for oil and gas companies.
Weldon is a seasoned oil and gas industry professional with a proven management and measurement track record. He has 30+ years of experience that includes natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil, and refined products measurement, combined with a healthy dose of SCADA and IT administration experience in the midstream, transportation pipeline, and utility sectors.
Prior to joining GCI, Weldon worked for FLOW-CAL/Quorum as a Sr. Product Specialist after having served as a Measurement Director for Energy Transfer and Measurement/SCADA Director for Southern Union.
