Bio
Alek Hutson, Ph.D., is the Associate Director of Lamar University’s Center for Midstream Management and Science, where he leads research initiatives and develops industry partnerships to advance innovation in the midstream sector. His doctoral research, conducted in collaboration with CERN’s ALICE experiment, strengthened his expertise in fundamental physics, data analysis, and scientific problem-solving. Dr. Hutson also brings more than a decade of hands-on experience in the heavy transport industry, including roles in crane operation, engineering, project management, and workforce training.
