Bio
| Originally a Bio-Chemical Engineer from the University of Colorado, Eric has worked in flow measurement for 43 years. He designs single and multiphase flow tests in air, natural gas, water, hydrocarbon liquids, saltwater, and super-critical fluids. Currently Eric performs uncertainty and meter performance analysis for CEESI’s multiphase/wet gas facility. Recent projects include 3-phase down-hole test simulations, velocity profile mapping, primary and CFV calibrations of gas standards, flare gas metering, corrosion detection using Coriolis diagnostics and USM wet gas analysis. Eric has developed and taught flow measurement training courses, written white papers for the North Sea Measurement Workshop, CEESI’s USM Conference, and NIST. He has made numerous contributions to API sampling, gas, liquid, and multiphase measurement committees. Before joining CEESI, Eric worked at Dieterich Standard, Flow Systems, and Veris. He holds several patents, and has considerable field experience including refinery production, cryogenic fluids, LNG, main header steam, pressures exceeding 10,000 psi, and corrosive environments requiring exotic materials. He has designed and built flow meters, piping systems, and pressure vessels to ASME B31.3 and NACE, supplied products to the nuclear power industry, and designed and implemented ISO-9000 programs. Eric has designed and built numerous air, water, and natural gas test facilities. |
