Gary Pare has spent his 18-year career dedicated to the oil and gas industry. He kicked off his career as a mechanical engineer growing into leading the design and specification of mechanical equipment in downstream oil and gas operations, including pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers.
Gary progressed his career through engineering as a project engineer where he began to transition his focus from engineering/design to supply management and construction execution of major refinery unit revamps and modernizations. Gary eventually landed in Project Management where he was able to tie together technical execution with the safety and business side of project execution.
More recently, his career has further shifted to a construction focus, with particular interest in full EPC execution of complex process facilities while teaching fellow industry participants and clients the benefits and risks of EPC execution. Gary continues to be a student of the industry and enjoys tackling new projects within the ever-changing global business and geo-political landscape.
