| Jonathan Dye is a 2005 graduate of Pittsburg State University with a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering technology. After college, he started his career as a metal detector service technician for Bunting Magnetics in Newton, KS. For three years in this role, he tuned and repaired metal detection equipment throughout the United States. In 2008, he accepted a position at ONEOK as an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician in Pratt, KS where he worked on measurement equipment, engine controls, VFD’s, communication equipment and various other electrical devices utilized in operations. After four years in the field, he accepted a position in the corporate measurement department located in Tulsa, OK where he started with responsibilities for technical guidance related to measurement standards along with the SME of Test-It application and field support of measurement equipment. His duties expanded to include supervision where he and seven balance analysts were responsible for gas balancing activities as well as advanced measurement functions. In 2018, he was promoted to Technical Manager of Measurement where he and a team of seven focus on support and improvement of measurement applications, field devices, and the data collection of all field devices. Jonathan is a committee member of International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (ISHM) and involved in GPA and API. |
