Lori manages a group of 25+ individuals who handle the execution of natural and cultural resource projects; field studies, permitting, agency coordination, and project management. Lori specifically has experience specializing in energy permitting projects, including leading complex, multi-state linear projects.
She has extensive experience managing and coordinating environmental components of linear construction projects and has experience with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) filings, utility commissions, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) permitting, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) consultations, and state and local environmental permitting.
Most of Lori’s experience includes preparation of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation and agency consultation supporting permit approvals. She has led large biological field teams performing wetland delineations and threatened and endangered species assessments, affording her the unique perspective of assimilating baseline data into defensible and practical documentation for pipeline construction permit approvals. Lori has forged productive relationships with key regulatory agencies, including the USACE, USFWS, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Additionally, Lori has complete familiarity with relevant legislation, including NEPA; Endangered Species Act; Sections 401 and 404 of the Clean Water Act; Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA), and Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act, and Section 14 of the Rivers and Harbors Act.
