Bio
Rick Moncrief is a co-founder of Caiman Energy, formed in 2009 to provide natural gas midstream services. Since its formation, Caiman has focused on the Utica and Marcellus shales in Ohio and West Virginia. Caiman built a gas gathering and processing facility in West Virginia, which was sold to Williams in 2012. Following the sale of the Caiman assets in West Virginia, Caiman Energy II acquired gathering and processing assets from affiliates of Dominion Energy to form Blue Racer Midstream, a gathering and processing joint venture, which Caiman operates.
Prior to Caiman, Rick led all commercial activities as Senior Vice President, and later serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, for Regency Energy Partners. From 2001 to 2006, Rick was Vice President of Engineering and Business Development for Sid Richardson Energy Services, departing with the sale to Southern Union. During his 39 year career in the Oil and Gas Industry, he has also held Commercial and Operational leadership positions for Koch Midstream Services and Delhi Gas Pipeline Corporation, as well as Engineering positions at TXO Production and Getty Oil.
Rick received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer.
