Bio
Wes Gardner is a Design Engineer (E.I.T) at STATS Group based in Edmonton, Canada. Wes has responsibility for design and project execution of in-line pipeline isolation projects, as well as various bespoke isolation solutions. Wes’ primary tasks are to assess client pipelines and design pigging arrays for STATS proprietary Tecno Plug in-line isolation tools.
Wes received a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering Cooperative Program from Dalhousie University in 2017. Wes worked with STATS for all three of his work terms where he started in the shop getting hands-on experience with the technology, and gradually moved into the office where he began project management and design engineering.
During his time with STATS Group, Wes has experience with piggable in-line isolation tool scopes ranging from 12” to 48” and distances travelled from 10m to 220km. Wes’ primary goals and focus is to continue to develop tool pigging and tracking methodologies and the logistics of moving sophisticated pigging trains long distances.
