About Gas Certification Institute (GCI)

Founded in 2000, Gas Certification Institute (GCI) provides measurement training on natural gas, liquid, and crude for oil & gas professionals, standard operating procedures (SOPs) for oil & gas companies, and measurement tools through Muddy Boots. GCI offers certification and training courses based on AGA, API, and GPA industry standards for measurement. For SOPs, GCI follows the Sarbanes-Oxley regulatory requirements to develop manuals that comply with the measurement standards for natural gas, liquid, and BLM Onshore Orders. Additionally, Muddy Boots streamlines measurement operations and connects measurement activity to the back office to create efficiencies.
