About Satelytics
Satelytics is a Toledo, Ohio based software company that has disrupted the oil and gas, pipeline, power and water industries for the past six years. This unique genre of software, Geospatial Analytics, uses the “Infrared spectra” to identify, locate, quantify, and alert some of the largest blue-chip companies in the world.
The focus of our software is for our customers to derive multiple benefits from the same set of data, at the same time. By any metric $1,000 divided by 10 is a better return than divided by 2. Simply, multiple business challenges are solved from the one set of data, analytics running simultaneously, with results presented to the cloud. So, whether your focus is leak detection, land movement, encroachments, or an assignment to distinguish between structures in the right of way, each are critical in their own right, so sharing the largest ingredient cost, which is data, drives even greater efficiencies and effectiveness.
Sean Donegan, President and CEO commented, “Our goal is for our customers to find it easy to do business with us. Unlimited user access, on multiple form factors, smartphone, browser or tablet, and extremely quick turnaround it the time from capture of data to results are at the essential core of what we do.”
What makes Satelytics unique is key to its success. We are data agnostic, even fusing data from differing sources, so whether drone, satellite, fixed wing, and UAV, our interest is in the data format. The target has and will continue to be on the forward operating areas, the here and now, examining imminent threats to our client’s operations and infrastructure. Our software does the rest. Standing alone Satelytics not only identifies the challenge such as methane escaping but also measures it, unrivaled by its peers this applies to many of the Satelytics algorithms.
The Satelytics software design is to multiple and the most problematic challenges to the oil and gas, and pipeline industry sector. Four years ago, we launched our methane initiative, not only to be able to identify it but also quantify it. This has since moved onto to developing flow and flux rates alongside some of our largest customers and industry giants. Our newest algorithm currently in the process of ground-truthing is a chemical composition found in the use of firefighting foam, AFFF. Satelytics can identify and measure the trio, PFAS, PFOA, and PFOS.
